The SS Nestorian was comissoned by the Allan Line to be built in Glasgow, Scotland by the Barclay, Curle & Co. Ltd. As a transatlantic liner she made voyages from England, and Scotland to North America from 11 Sep 1866 to 05 Feb 1897.
